Building Blocks Maintain Popularity
Although I'm sure that if we go back far enough in history we will find toy building blocks of all sizes and shapes, some of the first organized sets invented was the Erector Set, followed shortly after by Tinker Toys and Lincoln Logs.
Children of all age have found their niches and built simple things all the way up to compex structures. They are as popular today as they were in the early 1900's, only now the choices are many.
Construction toys such as LEGO brand, Tinker Toys, MEGA Blocks, just to name a few, encourage the imagination of children of all ages and remain a great educational toy.
